How to Describe a 3D Handprint

The photos in a higher place illustrate the process. I will likewise walk yous through the steps here:

  1. Start by tracing your hand in pencil. Make sure you can clearly run into your lines. Try to concur your wrist as straight as possible (you lot'll see why this makes information technology easier when you become to the other steps).
  2. Side by side showtime with a straight line at the bottom of your newspaper and draw straight across until yous go to the print. At present make a slight arching line over the handprint, then draw a straight line the remainder of the way across the newspaper. You may want to practise these start few lines with pencil until yous go the hang of it. If you are really confident, go for the Sharpie at this betoken. Don't worry about your lines existence perfect or going all the way to the edge of the newspaper.
  3. Lather, rinse and repeat until you lot get to the thumb. This part can be a picayune tricky and yous may find your line leaning down. That'south OK, yous will go them straighter as you go upward. This does not have to be perfect. The main thing is to get a practiced arching line on the handprint function.
  4. When you get to the fingers, do the same thing except each finger gets its ain arch then go straight beyond to the next finger and so on. If y'all are still using pencil and not satisfied with the results, you can correct them every bit yous become.
  5. Later on you get to the superlative and have drawn all the fingers and the print, make a few more than straight lines at the top to complete your drawing. You are done with the first part!
